The study of Medical Radiology is divided into two core sections as Diagnostic Radiology and Interventional Radiology. As diagnostic radiology, the student would learn about XRays and other such imaging technologies used for patients’ imaging and diagnosis. Again in Interventional Radiology, the student will go through imaging technologies used for direction and guiding such as CT Scan, MRI, Ultrasound, etc.

Program Details

A BSc in Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology (MRIT) is a 3 years undergraduate course designed to impart knowledge on different methods of radiographic imaging. The course is divided into semesters that also demand a 1-year internship after the 3 years of academics curriculum is over.



Eligibility Criteria for Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology


  1. In order to be eligible to study BSc in Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology (MRIT), the student must have passed 10+2 or equivalent education with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Biology.

  2. Admissions to colleges are mostly done through entrance exams conducted at the national and the state level by various colleges and universities.
