What is VITEEE 2026?
The VIT Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE) is a national-level computer-based test administered by the Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) for admission to its renowned B.Tech programs across multiple campuses in India. It is one of the most sought-after private engineering entrance exams, known for its competitive yet student-friendly pattern.
Currently, a total of over 2 lakh students are studying at all VIT Campuses. In 2024, VIT ranked 19th in the National Institutional Ranking Framework conducted by the Ministry of Education. The main campus of VIT is located in Vellore, along with other campuses in Chennai, Amaravati, and Bhopal.

VITEEE Eligibility Criteria 2026
Candidates must satisfy the following eligibility requirements to appear for VITEEE 2026.
Qualification
Passed or appearing in 10+2 / HSC or equivalent examination from a recognised board.
Required Subjects
Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics / Biology are mandatory subjects.
General Category
60% aggregate in PCM / PCB with at least 50% in Mathematics or Biology.
SC / ST / North-East
Relaxation in eligibility criteria may be applicable as per VIT norms.
